2025 Snake Avoidance Training

RMC NAVHDA proudly partners with Get Rattled to offer Snake Avoidance Training to our members and guests. Register for an hour timeslot on Tuesday, May 27th, in Fort Collins, Colorado.

If your dog hunts, runs, hikes, or camps or lives on the outskirts of town in Colorado, you and your pet are at risk of encountering Rattlesnakes! Your dog’s natural curiosity puts them at much greater risk of a venomous bite. Rattlesnake bites cause excruciating pain, permanent physical damage, thousands of dollars in veterinary care, and, in the worst cases, even death.

Get Rattled’s Snake Avoidance Training is a small investment to help ensure your dog and your family can avoid suffering. You get the peace of mind that your dog will avoid a dangerous rattlesnake encounter. We chose Get Rattled because their method incorporates the sight, sound, and smell of the snakes.
