February 10, 2019 – Larimer County Fairgrounds
We are going to focus our training day on providing opportunities for every handler to develop their eye in order to effectively create a training progression and address teachable moments throughout each of their training sessions in order to accomplish their specific goals with their hunting dog. During the training day, we are going to outline the Cobb SWA training day schedule in detail. For incoming Natural Ability handlers, we will address each component of versatile dog training and provide introductory exercises that we will build upon through the year. For dogs that have progressed through the Natural Ability system, we are going to discuss in depth the Conditioned Retrieve progression, the functionality of the GPS Collar for Duck Search training and address our training calendars for the year with the goals each handler has for their dog to outline their progressions between chapter training days. We are going to incorporate all youth in attendance in the event and we are going to introduce them to a new program that is being designed especially for them to get involved and engaged with training. We will also reveal the two Clinics being offered for 2019.
